Creating a community of good health for all
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is committed to improving health and wellness in our Ohio communities. We partner with dozens of dedicated organizations to improve the health of our community, our state and beyond through innovations and transformation in research, education, patient care and community engagement.
We have built lasting partnerships and continue to engage in new ones to:
- Improve health care access in underserved areas and for marginalized populations
- Address the social determinants of health to improve patient and health outcomes
- Decrease health disparities that lead to vast differences in health outcomes, including life expectancy based on ZIP code, race, ethnicity and income
