The First ANCC Magnet Recognition
We're proud to be the first health system in central Ohio to have a hospital achieve Magnet Recognition, one of the highest honors awarded for nursing excellence. The Ross Heart Hospital, University Hospital and The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute are all designated Magnet hospitals.

Governor’s Inclusive Employer Award

CHIME, the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, has named us to its 2019 CHIME HealthCare's Most Wired program for our use of health IT resources to improve health and care in our community. We received an overall score of 8 out of 10 for our IT capabilities including infrastructure, disaster recovery, security and interoperability.

HIMSS Stage 7 Award
We've received the highest award from HIMSS Analytics, which tracks hospitals' progress on the Electronic Medical Records Adoption Model. We're the first in Ohio to achieve this advanced level, which allows us to provide more efficient, effective and better coordinated care to our patients.

Recognition for an exemplary Emergency Department
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s East Hospital Emergency Department is the first ED in central Ohio to receive the Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award.
